What's the Difference Between Double Hung or Single Hung Windows?
Vinyl Single hung windows have an operable bottom sash that slides upward to open, while the top sash remains stationary. While both sashes in vinyl double hung window are able to slide open. No additional space is needed, as one sash simply overlaps the other. For added convenience sashes can also tilt inward for easy cleaning from inside the room.
